Breda University of Applied Sciences

All-round Operations Officer (0.6-0.8 FTE)

As an operations officer for 0.6-0.8 FTE at Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas) you will be working in the back office of the Academy for Games & Media (AGM). Your workplace will be on our green sustainable campus near the centre of Breda. The back office is the hub of the academy, the place to go for students and lecturers when they have questions or need support. Together with your colleagues, you are there for them every day. A varied and sometimes busy job, which you see as a challenge rather than a problem.

About this job
As an operations officer at the Academy for Games & Media (AGM), you will be working in the back office. You will be supporting all the educational support processes from enrolment to final exams. This means offering support in final exams and graduation ceremonies, Osiris (our student records system), intake and orientation days and events. With your help, we will have the extra hands needed to make sure everything runs smoothly.

In addition, you will ensure good accessibility by phone and e-mail for AGM students and lecturers. Student questions may relate to assessments, intake interviews, catch-up tests, failure to enrol, picking up degree certificates, and more. Answering or directing them to the appropriate person is no issue for you. During meetings you will proficiently record minutes and distribute them accurately to relevant stakeholders. Together with your colleagues you work with a ‘buddy system’, which ensures that tasks are effortlessly taken over when needed. Working hours are quite flexible, but you need to be available on Mondays and Fridays. You can cope in in a dynamic and hectic environment and love that no two working days are the same.
